Jason and Katherine Salisbury have decided to offer for sale Sharnford Marigold EX 90 the Champion Guernsey at the Royal Norfolk show in 2008 and 2009, she is entered for the Dairy Event in September and they would like to exhibit her there before they part with her.
I have not seen in her full milk but she strikes me as one of those cows that the more she carries the better she will be. She is a cow with frame and strength and has front teats placed well underneath the udder. She is sired by Trotacre Jay Mr Luck the breed leader for GMI and out of Witchball Marsha Ex 90 who is also at Sharnford and is now 10 years old and wearing well.
Marsha is sired by Shalford My Dear and out of the VG 86 Witchball Marion who milked for 9 lactations at Witchball. An opportunity to buy a current Champion backed as she is by two generations of type and longeviity doesn't occur very often within our breed.
