The ARC-Addington Fund has received £3800 as a result of the recent fund raising efforts which gave the chance of £1000 or the top class heifer Aber Showtime Dancer 5 .
The winners of the draw are the Greenslade family from Blackborough, Devon who are amongst the most active supporters of the Guernsey show rings and as such it will be good to see Dancer develop now that she has calved.
Thanks are due to John Berry, who developed the idea and purchased the calf from Merion Jones, who was good enough to part with a quality heifer.
Thanks are due also to Brian and Sheila Adams who have shown all over the country in the last fifteen months and to the sponsors who have supported that effort in cash and kind.
Thanks also to Ian Bell and in particular to Laura Dickinson of ARC-Addington who has tirelessly promoted “Claudia” to one and all and has done more than her share of washing and cleaning Guernsey’s while at the shows.
