Senior Handlers

With increasing costs and shortage of labour on dairy farms, it is important that our youngsters are given opportunities to learn their trade and to gain the enjoyment that the show ring can bestow.

North Somerset had put on a special class for Shorthorn young handlers and that had boosted numbers of adult cattle forward as well.

Congratulations to all of our FGB members and to the parents and grandparents and in particular to Brian and Sheila Adams who prepared 3 calves so that some of the FGB could compete on this occasion.

Thanks also to Jackie Langley who has provided the pictures.

Last few Guernsey fleeces, as modelled by the young ladies, are available from UK Guernsey.
