Hamps Valley Annabelle 7

Don and Kath Salt have supplied a heifer calf to be shown in the name of the ARC-Addington Fund and she will be sold in 2013 to raise funds for that worthy organisation who make funds available and invest in houses for those within agriculture who find themselves in need.

The Hamps Valley herd has become pedigree in the last 10 years and several Excellent cows have been developed since classification started there, the cows are batch milked in a 10 stall cow shed and are wintered in the old stone built sheds that mean that everything is carried in by hand and out by hand. Lyiing high in the Staffordshire hills it can be a beautiful spot  when the sun shines but can be bleak on a winters day.

Annabelle made her debut at the recent Devon County Show where she was the winner of the maiden heifer class and placed fourth in the Championship.
