Interbreed Champion in Kenya

Kiprono Sego has sent a picture of a Guernsey heifer that was recently made Interbreed Champion at the Nairobi International Fair. “Eliza” is owned, bred and exhibited by ADC Lanet Feedlot, the Government Agency that took over the running of many farms after Independence and have continued to run them in much the same way as the original owners.

Eliza’s sire is Mukumu Fantasy a Rozelyn Patmar Goliath son and out of a cow that traces back to a Longthorpe bull from the UK. The Sires cow family also carries English blood tracing to Chytodden.
