Channel 5 news are filming today in Cheshire with consumers who having seen the item in September on the benefits to an autistic child of changing to Guernsey milk have sought out supplies of Guernsey milk for their own children.
Several parents have now made this simple change and are all delighted with the responses of their children in both behaviour but also in improved digestion.
Reading University are proposing to arrange a meeting for all “interested” parties in the new year (2009) and hope to be able to organise a joint project between the Agriculture and Psychology departments at the University to try and provide a scientific answer to the questions that remain, but it does seem that the inclusion of higher levels of Beta Casein A2 protein from Guernsey milk is having a real benefit for these vulnerable Children.
