Alderney lifts the veil of secrecy

Mike Cox has sent me his recent Classification results and so i have pleasure in publishing them and to congratulate him on breeding the highest GMI Guerrnsey in the Bailiwick of Guernsey at the April 2011 proof runs.

Alderney Chiller Jackie has the following remarkable PTA’s +561 kgs Milk, +31.2 kgs Fat, 21.3 kgs Prot, +0.07%Fat, +0.03% Protein with a £PLI of +£111 and a GMI +475. Her Classification score is H 81 with an 85 point Leg/Feet and a 78 point Mammary score. 

Alderney Pedros Laxy has a higher £PLI of +£121 and a PTA of +298 kgs Milk, +28.2 kgs Fat, +9.3 kgs Prot, +0.24% Fat ,-0.03% and a GMI of +365. She scored H78 (81/76).

Mike classified two other heifers Alderney Iceberg Ann who scored H82 (78/83) and Alderney Cornelius Shirley who scored H86 (86/86).

In addition he put forward 10 cows for Classification 9 of which scored VG or better including Alderney Pedro Clare Ex 91 ( 88 / 91), Alderney Zulu Wini VG 89 ( 94 /.82 ) and Alderney Silverado Bow VG 88 ( 91 / 85) who has a very smart son by Pine Ridge Double L.
